About

Nickolas Pearson

Computer science student who builds software for the people around him.

I'm Nick, a computer science student. Most of what I build starts the same way: something around me is slow or annoying, and I'm pretty sure software could fix it.

At work, that meant turning the kitchen's waste log into an app the whole crew uses on an iPad. For my friend Cooper, it meant a bot that places his options picks through Charles Schwab, so he doesn't have to watch the market all day. At home, it's JARVIS: a voice assistant that runs the lights, the TV, the music and the media server.

I like owning the whole thing: the server, the network, the backend and the part people actually touch. This site runs on a small cloud server I set up myself, right next to the apps it links to.
